Our client is recruiting a General Manager to Oversee and develop the business unit assigned, ensuring it meets its overall organizational goals and objectives. Working closely with Managing partner, driving business activities, and implementing the firm strategies while ensuring business success.
Job Description:
Strategic Responsibilities:
Set business unit strategies in line with Managing partner to ensure business success.
Define and develop strategic goals for business development and support the Managing Partner to drive these forwards.

Lead the performance of the organization and teams, effectively manage all aspects, ensuring that the organization remains on sustainable growth trajectory
Operational Responsibilities:
Manage day to day activity ensuring effective running of the firm
Work with Management to oversee, plan, and resource all projects in order to meet project deliverables in accordance with contract requirements with respect of time, quality, and cost
Develop and maintain key relationships with customers and partners ensuring company success
Participate in tender and proposal preparation, setting pricing strategy aiming to secure projects
Analyze the progress of revenue-generation goals and make recommendations for adjustment/interventions as required.
Develop and implement a customer strategy for customer excellence to enhance the company’s reputation, to attract, develop and retain our customer base.
Support team members and other direct reports providing advice and expertise on critical issues whilst developing and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and customers.
Monitor outstanding debtors, collecting outstanding payments in coordination with all departments.
Lead on financial performance, with accountability to devise solutions for delivering relative improvement and operating profit,
Report on a weekly basis sales and project updates as well as bottlenecks and risks to management in line with accepted formats and schedules.
People Responsibilities:
Lead the team responsibly providing effective line management to direct reports
Set objectives for direct reports and evaluate performance in line, and actively manage key personnel issues.
Motivate, train, and support the team by providing effective line management, ensuring staff acquire the required skills and knowledge to remain competitive
Person Specification:
Essential:
Degree educated in IT, Electrical Engineering, or related field
10 plus years of experience interacting with technologies providers with at least 5 years working at a Senior Leadership level, ideally Sales management/ Business Development Roles.
Demonstrated experience as Sales/Business Development for similar company
Demonstrated leadership skill and strong commercial awareness
Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, development, and implementation
Demonstrated experience in driving financial performance and management
Demonstrated strong Commercial awareness
Demonstrated strong Communication skills
Demonstrated Entrepreneurial style
Demonstrated strong Interpersonal ability and customer relationships.
Demonstrated working knowledge and application of A/V with an extended knowledge of integration.
Well versed in latest products, new technology and new market trends.
Experience in the Saudi Arabian market
