They are looking for a Senior Functional Consultant-Dynamics 365 to lead requirements gathering workshops and functional design analysis. Actively engage in fit/ gap
analysis discussions and be responsible for quality, on-time delivery of your functional area's
deliverables such as To-be business process and functional design documents, system configurations, system tests, solution system walkthroughs, and finalization of solution design.
It is expected that the Senior Functional Consultant possess deep knowledge of Microsoft D365 F&O and BC's Supply Chain Management capabilities and functionalities. Experience in implementing Master planning, Demand forecasting, and Warehouse Management solutions is required. And must have a high finance and accounting knowledge to be able to implement the financial module on the system.
Responsibilities
Learn, utilize, and promote the Project Implementation Methodology
Leads client meetings to gather business requirements and map to the solution
Perform gap analysis from requirements gathered to solution proposed
Complete design/configuration of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and BC modules and key third party products
Complete project documentation such as: Functional Requirements Document, Functional Customization Specifications, User Acceptance Test Scripts, and End User Training Documentation
Build integrations to perform data conversion tasks and additional integrations based off requirements
Lead all tasks relating to feature testing, solution testing, and user acceptance testing
Provide application support for clients
Assist with escalation support for help desk
Works with management to keep projects on schedule and recommend needed action to meet deadlines
Perform demonstrations of solutions to clients
Design/create financial statements with Management Reporter and other financial reporting tools
Mentor ERP Staff Consultants
Support Technical Consulting Manager with various duties
Obtain and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and BC certifications
Prepare Business Process Discovery Documents
Prepare functional specification for customizations required for Dynamics 365 ERP implementations.
Creating functional requirements as an input to application design
Developing and testing detailed functional designs for business solution components and prototypes
Supervising application build, test, and deploy activities
Qualifications
5+ Experience in Dynamics 365 implementation
Works effectively under minimal supervision
Strong ability to “multi-task” while maintaining quality customer service
Maintains high utilization percentage while achieving high customer satisfaction
Effective client-facing interpersonal skills; comfortable and effective acting as a liaison between multiple technology groups
Shares knowledge with team members and encourages collaboration amongst peers and subordinates
