Job Description
Design complex solutions
Work with legacy code and work on migrating to modern architecture gradually and without any disruption
Write code, communicate challenges, and delegate
Let the product manager know as early as possible about any possible challenges
Enlist the help of the engineering manager as needed
Work with reports to identify areas for learning and helping them grow in these areas via project work, external learning, or additional mentoring
Understand business requirements and translate them into software
Break work down into rough deliverables, set a plan, and deliver accordingly
Get as much productive work done in parallel as possible
Identify priorities as part of the process. Which pieces are critical, and which are optional? How can you work on the critical items early in the project?
Find places to apply agreed-upon abstractions to enable parallel work
Run the project and adjust the plan as you go
Use the insights gained in the planning process to manage requirements changes
Revisit the details when getting closer to completion
Requirements/Skills
Qualifications
4 years of experience in full-stack software development
Bachelor’s/Master's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science
Technical Skills
Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer
Experience in Software Design, Software Documentation, and Software Testing
General Programming Skills (ASP.Net, C#, Javascript, HTML, and CSS)
In-depth knowledge in relational database (MS SQL) and NoSQL databases
Experience in software design and architecture (Design Patterns, Data Structures, and Cloud Infrastructure)
Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
