Our client is extending its capabilities to include project and technical support for investment banking clients, initially in Saudi Arabia but potentially also in other Gulf countries.
The client is seeking an experienced individual to design client solutions within the implementation team for a specific, comprehensive platform for fund and partnership accounting, relationship management, portfolio management, performance measurement, business intelligence, and data management. They will bring an understanding of investment banking products to the company and help technical employees to expand their skills and knowledge in this area.
The role will be based in the Kingdom. It requires an excellent understanding of global financial services and strong developed skills in this area of investment banking technology. The successful candidate will report to the company’s Head of Solution Delivery but will be expected to work under general supervision, with latitude for innovation and independent decision-making.
Role Description
•Design and recommend solutions using the core platform to ensure that implementations meet client business and technical requirements, as well as future business needs
Act as subject matter expert among colleagues and clients for fund and partnership accounting, relationship management, portfolio management, performance measurement, business intelligence, and data management
Mentor, coach, and train other team members on a specific domain and product knowledge
Person Specification
Background and Experience
Degree in IT, engineering, or a similar related subject
5 - 8 years experience in an investment banking technology environment, within a major bank or investment company in Europe or the Middle East
-Knowledge and experience of the Gulf region is a distinct advantage, but not essential
Deep domain knowledge in financial services, capital markets, and investment portfolio management
High level of fluency in English
Willingness to work in Riyadh for a period of 2-3 years
