Our client is currently looking for a Digital Subscriptions and Acquisition Manager to join their team.
The Digital Subscriptions & Acquisition Manager's mission is to make our client as visible as possible on the different channels (desktop, mobile, social) in order to generate leads and increase subscriptions and digital revenue. your objective is to maximize our client online exposure in order to generate as many conversions as possible for its services and products.
You will have to use all the digital levers at your disposal: marketing campaigns / SEM / SEO, social media, affiliation, subscriptions or traffic, display ads...
Passionate about growth hacking, e-commerce and e-marketing techniques, the digital acquisition manager will be in charge of finding growth levers to increase qualified traffic, visitor engagement and optimize the conversion of audiences into subscribers within a leading French and English media group.
In collaboration with the marketing and editorial teams, you will help the digital department define a strategy for increasing the number of digital subscribers to their French and English platforms. Your role will be to identify opportunities to support the client's teams by identifying growth levers and systematizing and automating actions.
Reporting to the Marketing Department and working in collaboration with the Digital Department in charge of digital strategy as well as the editorial teams, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, following up and reporting on subscriber acquisition campaigns.
You will need to demonstrate creativity and flexibility, enabling your to find innovative solutions while optimizing cost by building on the power of a strong brand with a qualified audience and a portfolio of several thousand subscribers.
The Subscriptions & Acquisition Manager will:
Suggest an acquisition strategy segmented according to objectives/targets, platforms and editorial moments/events. - Messages, pricing, visuals.
Implement acquisition campaigns on different platforms. - Development of visuals, development of specifications if a tech development is necessary, campaign implementation. - Establish a network of external agencies and manage the relationship with them.
Monitor market trends relevant to acquisition mechanics.
Improve subscription user journeys on different platforms.
Coordinate with marketing and data teams to measure the impact and effectiveness of said campaigns.
Suggest and allocate an “acquisition” budget between the various levers (Display, SEM, affiliation, co-registration, retargeting, RTB, emailing...)
Qualifications and skills:
Perfect command of the tools and acute understanding of the world of digital marketing- Paid search, affiliation, coregistration, database rental- Cross-functional vision of different acquisition levers (SEA, Social Ads, SEO etc.)- Management of marketing and acquisition budgets- Setting up and managing relationships with external agencies- ROI approach to actions, expertise in website traffic analysis tools
Management of a portfolio of digital subscribers and e-commerce logic
Mastery of tracking and audience measurement tools (Google Analytics, Google Conversion Tracker, Xiti, Webalyser, Webtrends etc.)
Mastery of an Ad server (Smart, Dart, etc.) and SEM platforms (Google Ads etc.)
Ability to structure and implement acquisition and retention processes
Good knowledge of search engines (Google, Bing, Yahoo) and mastery of various acquisition levers: SEO, SEM, Affiliation, Emailing, Retargeting.
Fluency in spoken and written French and/or English is essential.
