Job Responsibilities:
Team & People Management:
Drives and inspires the project team towards project objectives, while contributing to the development and long-term motivation of the project team members, in collaboration with their managers.
Leads a team of more than 8+ members, that can include resources from other departments (Product Team, Environment Management, Infrastructure...), and externals.
Project Execution:
Manages several complex project(s) (e.g project that includes innovation, and/or Turnkey project, and/or pilot in a new market and/or with new methodology/delivery model).
Communicates and reports project status, providing clear visibility and common view to the management & project team (including integrators).
Defines and owns project plan: estimate project effort, define the high level and detailed project plan, including staffing and logistics (Resource profile, governance, organization), ensures they are respected and monitors the associated KPIs.
Identifies project Risk & issues and ensures mitigation.
Prepares and executes project closure and handover.
Capitalizes and provides lessons learned.
Adopts & promotes project methodologies, tools and best practices and aligns them with clients and integrators.
Stakeholders Management:
Ensures coordination with client and integrators ensures client/integrator readiness and builds a partnership based on mutual respect and trust.
Reports to Project Director and collaborate closely with stakeholders (Client Services, Product departments, Project administration)
Challenges the status and directions provided by the client and integrators (test, release management, planning, budget...) when appropriate.
Is recognized by the client as a strong business advisor, that considers the overall context (beyond scope of service).
Profile Requirements:
Computer Science/Computer Engineering degrees are preferable, a business degree is less preferable.
Minimum 6 years of professional experience in the financial services industry or equivalent (Software Engineering/IT/Digital Banking...).
A proven experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall,)
Fluency in English, French is a plus.
Good communication, presentation & interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in client-facing activities.
Exposure to the finance and capital market industry is a plus.
An appetite for new challenges and continuous learning.
A willingness to travel in the MEA and Africa regions.
